So I ordered a sweet carbon stock for my new hunting project a few months back. Manners finishes right on schedule, ships the same day I provide payment, and the stock is delivered two days later. The only problem - UPS delivers the stock to the wrong damn address. So I file a missing package claim with UPS, and I call Manners to give them a heads up and get their recommendation on how to proceed.

Cue the customer service juggernaut that is MCS. I speak to Andrea on the phone, and she tells me they will rush a new stock through production for me at no cost. Then, like 20 minutes later, Tom Manners himself rings me up. He was concerned that this delay would prevent me from completing a build for this hunting season, and he wanted to offer me one of several other stocks he had on hand that were similar to mine. I told him I wasn't in a big hurry and I could wait for a replacement to be built, but wow. When the owner of the company calls you up unsolicited to make sure you are taken care of, you are dealing with a special group.

So, support Manners, ladies and gentlemen. They make a great stock and they back it up with great customer service.

To close the loop on my missing stock, one of my neighbors showed up at my door with it today (four days after it was delivered). Get it together, UPS.

In my book, the bitterness of poor customer service or product quality remains long after price is forgotten. Outstanding customer service is the reason I do business with Manners Stocks and Vortex Optics. Both companies have made customer satisfaction a priority.

I agree. I had an order get lost in production. When I called about it, they rushed a new order through and Tom called to make sure it was going to work out ok.

This is my story. I bought a Manners T6A for my Tikka CTR in EuroOptic and the stack arrived without the three swivels studs, wrote to EuroOptic about the incomplete order but they never answer then I emailed Manners CS explaining what happened with my EuroOptic order and asking them which brand of swivel studs they use in their stocks in order for me to buy them. Received an email almost instantly from Manners asking me for my address, they will be sending me the studs without any cost.
That's what I call an awesome FIVE STAR Costumer Service. Just like another poster said, after things like that, all my money goes to Manners!
