Also, what is the attachment under the forearm? Not familiar with that.

Can your expand on that or provide an example of what youre referring to?

I would guess youre looking at the sling studs, the mag well front to keep pressure off the mag itself or a barricade stop? But I dont think a normal bdl inlet has any of those.
