Anyone get behind one of these yet? Just put in an order for one.

I’ve been shooting an MPA forever because of all the options it has for positional shooting, but I’ve always felt way more comfortable behind a traditional style stock. I’m hoping the tcs can blend those two things together for me. I’m pretty stoked to check it out.

And I never setup a manners PRS1/2 with Arca rail because of the lack of weight tuning and balance, and I’m not a fan of the angled forend. I like em flat. Seems like the tcs has addressed all my issues.

This new Manners stock looks awesome. There's probably very few people on here that have been behind one.

The Manners TCS has a few design elements that are long overdue for a fiberglass stock. The only thing I'm not convinced on is the Sykes Clutch, but nonetheless looks like they hit it out of the park with this stock.

I'm curious to hear from others as well whom have had experience with this chassis.

I've had mine for a few weeks now and absolutely love it. I was a A5a, T2a, T6a guy before I got into chassis. Had several but when I got behind a MPA I knew I had found my end all stock/chassis. Loved that thing but always missed the feel a fiberglass stock provides. The TCS is by far my favorite now, all the adjustment and weight tuning of a MPA with that real stock feel. I dont think you will regret it at all. I've got a second one on order I'm waiting on. Looks are second to function for me but I've always thought "traditional" styles were sharper looking and IMO the TCS delivered there also.

Thanks dude! That is exactly how I am about stocks and sounds like I’ll love it. Nice!

However, is the Arca rail serrated to attach the area 419 accessories and have them lock? It looks smooth in the picture.

I dont have a weight on just the stock, as pictured with a MTU barrel it weighs just under 20lbs. You can see where it balances. That's with one rear weight and two weights installed in the front area of the arca rail. The rail is not serrated and is smooth which is how I like it. You can also slide your arca attachments off the front end without having to open them all the way up. It's not a big deal, but I never liked that part of my MPA.

I can’t wait to get mine. I was able to handle one they had for display at the PRS finale and it felt and looked awesome. I think they addressed every issue with why someone would chose a chassis over a stock. Home run on this one.

We just rolled into full production on these rails. There were some early concept rails, but all production units will be the ARCALOCK pattern for locking in a clamp.

Awsome. I have one on order as well with the styke clutch. Cant wait till it ships. Sounds like by the comments its exactly what I'm looking for. A stock feel with chassis adjustments and weight tunable. I got it in that same colour they had the GA rifle in without the high gloss. Super nice colour. I think its calling high plans could be wrong.

Does anyone know if the TCS inletted for a Defiance Deviant will fit an Impact? I know normally there are some slight mismatches, but I’ve also read they tried to make the TCS more universal.

is say u have a pretty good chance it will fit. Mine was inleted for A Zeus but my TL3 drops in no issues as well.

Tcs don't come with an inlet for deviant specifically. They are a universal r700 footprint inlet. In the invoice they put whatever action you have on it but go to manners site and read on it. They don't do custom inlets for it. It's the entire point of the stock, to be universally for any r700 footprint. The only thing you may possibly have to do is open up the bolt handle notch the smallest amount of the tl3 handle is swept (can't renege but i don't think it is) i had to open it just barely for my origin but I'm a lefty and they hand cut the notch for ours. Tom Manners has posted in the original announcement these that they had a universal notch for the right hand side actions that was designed to accommodate the sweep of i recall correctly

On the ready to ship section of their website they had a TCS that said it was inletted for the Deviant. I decided to order it since it’s returnable if it doesn’t fit.

Got my Impact dropped into my new TCS and it fits perfect. I tried my Surgeon and it actually looks like it makes contact on the shroud that protects the bolt release. Never tried shooting it to see if it would affect anything.

yep, my surgeon did not fit. Hit the bolt release shroud as well. Had to cut it out for it to fit.

I really like the stock so far. My only gripe is the in ability to add more weights other than the rail. The rail with weights really isn’t that heavy and I like a very front heavy prs gun. It’s not horrible and I just slap on a grayops pro plate to get that better balance, but it’s not the best. My MPA was balanced perfectly.

I am also running a heavy Palma so maybe when I switch to an mtu it will balance a bit better.

I'd go with a heavier barrel. I'm running a custom contour. Barrel is about 7.5 lb. You can also add weight to the butt so its not only the rails u can add weight to.

Do you have the steel or aluminum rail? You can also get steel weights instead of the brass ones and that will add some weight. With steel rail and weights and a 1.250 straight barrel my rifle is over 23 pounds. Here’s some pics with an mtu plus benchmark barrel I had on before

How much were the extra weights through Manners?

Area419 sells 24k gold weights... A little out of my league. 🤣

I am running the aluminum. I thought I wanted the arcaloc, but so far haven’t used it. Don’t really want to buy another arca rail either.

manners charges double what area419 sells them for if I remember correctly.

If I could make a suggestion. Contact ATeam precision. He has a phenomenal heavy profile that helps add the extra weight. I set mine up with two weights and their profile. Perfect balance on the tcs

Not the best photo, but I just checked the fit after coming home from work. It works perfectly with the Impact 737R.

Edit: it turns out it doesn’t really fit the magwell. I can get ARC and MDT mags to seat, but they are really tight and don’t drop free. AI and Accurate mags can’t even seat.

Edit #2: I emailed MCS, promptly got a call from Tom Manners. It sounds like it may be a slight variance in the way the action sits in the chassis, resulting in a need for a shorter mag catch, which they are going to send today.
