Manners PRS TCS

I don’t know, however I know I ordered it march 31. I have all prs1 stocks and If I don’t like this tcs it will be on the px

I shot my 6 bra in the tcs today and so far i am very pleased with this stock. The rifle will still shoot 1 hole groups at 100 and shot it at 1000 and it shot very well. Stock is very comfortable to get behind and the weights are nice to get the balance that you want. The fit and finish on this stock is

very good. I can’t quite capture the true colors and look with a pic, but here is one.

Sweet rig. Good taste.
Thank you. The bra is such a joy to shoot. Don’t need a brake, and in this stock it barely twitches. I got one additional rear weigh and it balances the rifle nicely. Ime sure you have way more time behind one than me, are you liking yours still

I love my stock. I'm still shooting a 6.5cm. I have a 6gt being spun up for this rig. Interested in the 6mm. What kind of barrel are you shooting? Mtu? How do you like that fusion ?

Yes it’s a 7.5 twist 5r bartlien mtu 28 inches. I only have 200 rounds down the barrel. I like the action so far but haven’t used it enough to know a lot. I will say this about the barreled action it will shoot one hole and I really do mean one hole in the prs1 stock and is doing the same in this tcs, and that is fireforming the brass. I guess TS customs gets the credit for that. I think the action feels more like my deviant than my impact. You should try a bra some time, it makes a mediocre shooter like me look good

This is the only pic I have. 5 shot group back when I first got the rifle, I had just zeroed it, and this was my first group. Now that components are harder to find I like that this thing is only burning 29.5 grains of powder. Neat little cartridge

Does anyone else get a lot of arca rail flex when loading the bipod? For some reason the rail on my TCS flexes more than I prefer. Maybe it’s the cutouts for the weights.

I've got a steel rail and an aluminum railed TCS and haven't noticed any flex with them. I do have most of the weights in it which should obviously help make it stiffer.

I think there are 5. My steel rail TCS is a preproduction model. The weights are different from the aluminum one I have, definitely not interchangeable nor are the rails. As in the steel rail cant be swapped between stocks. Not sure how the production steel rails are.

Random question, but why does it seem everyone moves the adjustable butt pad up on the TCS? I think I'm the only one I know that has ever moved it down.
Makes it easier to get centered up on the collar bone to manage recoil better. Especially prone, the higher the placement the less offset with the bore, thus less 'flip' off target

My sick ass GAP camo Manners PRS-TCS I picked up from a fellow hide member. Wasn’t sure how much I would like the GAP as I really wanted the artic or copperhead or Sedona “camo” but I love this GAP. Still rear heavy with the rear weight removed and 5 weights in the rail. It’s a 20”MTU vudoo.

Love the GAP. Quick question, do you need to remove the barrel to add/remove weights or can you just loosen the rail?

The little deals for the screw (think mlok backs) broke loose so I had to pull the barreled action. Gonna pull it again and super glue them down and see if that works.

It came like that and it worked pretty well for me. It does bring the recoil pad more in line with the bore axis.

Fair, I know it's personal preference for sure. I do mostly positional shooting and find it just a little lower is nice so I can square up on the gun a little better. It definitely is a little low for prone shooting.

Everyones built differently. That's why we love chassis so much and adjustability. "One size never fits All"

I had to remove the weights from the rear also because it was still too rear heavy even with a 1.25 inch straight barrel.

What weight locations and setups/barrel contours are people using to get a balanced rifle? I have the included rail weight closest to the magwell and it balances well but could be a little more front heavy.
