There is never enough good things said about company's online. All you seem to find when doing a search is what bad things people have to say about company's.
Well today I'm going to brag on one a little bit. Not that everyone doesn't already know how good Manners Customer service is but here is my experience from today.
Today I was shooting getting ready for Sundays Match. I had added an anti-cant to my rifle and was needing to re-zero at 100. For some reason my rifle was not even on paper anymore. The anti-cant was basically sandwiched between my optic and the base so I thought it was maybe screwing things up so I removed it. After re-adjusting thing I still could not get the rifle on paper it was shooting all over the place. Then I had a trigger problem start. My trigger would lock out or not even cock. We took the rifle inside to take the action out of the stock to see what was up with the trigger. When I removed the action from the stock pieces of the stock started coming out near the rear pillar and the rear pillar was loose and only has about half the stock material remaining around the pillar. This would explain my suddenly erratic rifle.
So on my way home I call Manners Stocks and leave Tom a message. His voice mail says he will be out of the office till July 29....I'm thinking "great not only am I missing the match but now I wont even hear from anyone about this few weeks". Boy was I mistaken. Tom called me back in less than 10 minutes on his cell phone while driving to Canada for a fishing trip! He felt terrible about me missing the match and said if he was in town he could have had the stock fixed and back to me in little more than a week. He said there were employees at the shop right now that could take care of my stock but that he wanted to fix it personally. He said he needed my barreled action, bottom metal, and stock sent in and that he would reimburse me in full for any shipping and insurance cost I incurred. He also said that he was not only going to fix that one pillar he would fully re-bed the action as well as the bottom metal and make sure it was perfectly done. He said it would take him less than a week to get it done and on its way back to me!
I've heard stories of Manners customer service but I just cant believe how great it is! I'm really pumped on them and in today's age its so rare for an owner to personally put his hands on and fix a customers item to make sure they are totally satisfied. Not to mention paying for all the cost of shipping and insuring the weapon as well.
Cu do's to Manners Rifle Stocks!
