This stock appears to look really Badass on rifles, I am thinking either this or a McMillan A5. 4.2 lbs on the T4A sounds heavy for what it is but I don't know. Will a McM Action fit in the T4A? And how does it compare to the A5

T4a is by far my favorite stock.
Call Manners and they will walk you through it. They can also do a carbon fill up to 90% to reduce weight.

If you don't need the adjustable portion, the weight goes down to 3lbs (2.5 if you get the 90% carbon fill).

so I can go from 4.2 lbs to 2.5 if I get the 90% carbon fill? What exactly is that? Is it expensive, and would you say a 2.5 lbs stock is light?

I dont think the T4a is heavy to begin with, but it depends upon the user/use.

You'd lose the adjustable cheek piece too.
One of the lighter stocks you can get is the Manners MCS SL which comes in at 2 lbs.

and as far as inletting for your action. you might have to send it to him. I did this with a Savage target action as he didnt have an inlet for the 3 action screws or the target action it self. and it turned out great.

Mine was right at about 19 weeks. Received it last month.
