I posted awhile back about the EH1a and T6a asking for advice and thought I had made up my mind. I had Manners send me a EH1 to demo and I liked it but the grip didn't have enough real estate to accommodate my pinky finger so I started looking closer at the T6a. But now the MCS-Ta is in the running also because it resembles the stocks I'm more accustomed to and because I prefer the more narrow style fore ends. So is there any one here who's handled both and what are your thoughts? This rifle is going to be more or less my do everything rifle for now which includes hunting/target and hopefully some matches in the future. Any input on either is appreciated, thanks.

I have an mcs-t (wish it was a TA) and a buddy shoots a 6. I would hands down take the Mcs-TA any day of the week. I too was used to shooting a similar style stock and thus feel very comfortable with it. You can use it for anything you want. I've used mine for target and hunting and have no doubts it would perform for PRS without issue.

Thank you for the insite on the two, it's greatly appreciated.

MCST is the greatest stock ever made! Currently have rifles built on both stocks and tried everything else. If you're used to and prefer hunting stocks, deviate for your 2nd build ... or add a stock to same build later.

When I shoot off a bench or prone I rarely use bags and just use my bipods so for me I don't think there's a benefit with the wider forends. The biggest thing I'm concerned about with the MCS-T is being able to shoot prone comfortably. I'm used to traditional style hunting stocks and have no problems shooting off hand and from a bench with them but shooting prone with them kinks my wrist in such a way that I find it uncomfortable. Looking at the pics of the MCS-T it looks like the grip is a little more vertical than traditional stocks so it might be more comfortable prone. I'm not against the T6 either but the EH1 I was able to handle the vertical grip was just a little to short for my hands so does anyone know if the grip is longer on the T6?
