Hi guys! I'm looking for a range finder that can be attached to the sight, i.e. not a hand-held rangefinder but a manual one like the one in the video below only not so cheesy... Wouldn't one like the below be off a bit as everybody's draw length is different?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Manual Range Finder for bows?

I have the cheesy one in your OP. It works very well and when you order it, you order the one that corresponds to your draw length range. Inclines are ranged the same and the company claims they are accurate to within one yard and I believe this also. The chessy one I have for my G5 Rock is constructed of aluminum and installs into your site housing using an allen set screw. Cheaper than a laser range finder and accurate enough for most bowhunters with average skill and properly tuned and sighted bow to use effectively in a hunting scenario.

LOL, I only called it cheesy because of the plastic version, the Al version is pretty cool.

Like, Bolttripper mentioned how does it work on an incline?? Obviously you would have to do some head calculations to offset the lack of a full broadside to range on?

Are they easy to take out and replace? I.e. could I stack them or just swap them out on the fly for ranging during a 3D shoot?

Lots of info about these things including reviews and how-to's. Inclines don't change anything about how you use it. You still place the animal in the belly to back brackets and note the range then release and go get you animal.
