I have the March 5-40 56mm in mil/ mil from last year and love it. The optics seem equal quality without obvious chromatic abbreations. The scopes seemed equal, but the big advantage of the March is it's diminutive size and weight. Both are solid choices. I'm sure you could find reticle pictures at different magnifications. I have the 5x40 and 3x24 both mil/mil. The 5x40 has the thinner reticle and 3x24 a little thicker. I like both but would pick the thicker if I had the choice. They both work really good. I just have bad eyes and thick is clearer for me.

I have the March 5-40 FML-1 (mil) reticle as well as the S&B 5-25 P4F (had a couple of the MOA versions but now only mil). They differ in that the March has a floating dot (which is .04 mil at 40x) and the S&B P4F has intersecting crosshairs.
