Bear with me. When I leave the lens cover closed on my TA33 acog and TR24 Accupoint (both illuminated brightly by fiber optic) they work like a T1. Very fast, and dead on to 50 yards. I'm interested in a Leupy Mark 4 2.5-8 Illuminated TMR, and wondering if it can work the same. Lens cover closed, illlumination on full, daylight, can you still see the reticle glowing brightly enough to run it as a red dot - or can you only see the illumination in dim lighting?

Don't knock it 'til you try it!

Thanks!

I never tried that with the MK4 I had a while back but I have tried it with the Viper PST I have and it was a no go. The illumination on the PST is brighter than the MK4 was.
