Mark II TR

Re: Mark II TR

Honestly, I just have a simple Bushnell Elite 4200 3-9x40 on my TR. I have it zeroed at 50 and with the cci mini mags, I just set my zoom to 9 and hold at the bottom post and pull, dead on accurate. I think you can pick up one of those for about $200 from Cabelas right now, excellant scope, just not very good if you want to dope.

Junk! Might as well flush your money down the toilet.

Re: Mark II TR

the mueller APT and APV are great glass for the money. I got my Pops an APV for his 17hmr for around $114. I was so impressed with the clarity I got an APT for my 22.

Re: Mark II TR

got a Bushnell 3200 10x on a 20 moa base on mine. I shoot a comp every month in Conover NC that ranges out to 210 yards so the turrents help with the dope, and that fact you can find one under $200 is good also.

Do you wish you would have gone with the Karsten cheek piece or do you have a good cheek weld as is?

Absolutely not. I am glad I didnt. I have perfect cheek weld just the way it is! It is much more comfortable than my B&C Medalist on my Savage 10FP. Eye lines up perfectly with my 16X SS! I guess it would depend on what rings and scope your run but for me I like it the way it is. Chris is a great guy to work with. I am glad I went this route!

Re: Mark II TR

I run a BSA contender 6-24x40. Gets kinda dark at 24x but perfect at 18x. I shoot 100yds and it works perfectly for it. I just added a Boyd's tacticool stock and it is a night and day difference from the plastic kiddie factory junk.
