Re: mark larue is a great guy
I strongly support what LaRue is doing, as well as what olympic, possibly magpul and others are doing and hopefully do. That said, Ive thought about it quite a bit, and I will admit Ive heard a lot more support from LE during this time than Ive ever heard. Here in Missouri, when they passed the concealed carry law, all I heard from anywhere was how many cops were going to be slaughtered because of the new law. During the first AWB, there wasn't facebook, or forums, just the news, and we were bombarded by LE leaders speaking down their noses at us like we were all wannabe cop killers.
Ive seen a lot of sheriffs on the news this time, stating that they not only don't stand behind the current legislative ideas, but that they vehemently oppose them and will not enforce them. I'm glad to see that kind of shift and appreciate the support in the fight. Its true that not every LEO is that retard standing with feinstein on the unveiling of her proposal but I do think all LEO do need to tell their superiors that they don't believe in it, just like all of us need to be emailling our representatives on a constant schedule that we don't support these laws.
While I disagree with guya like paulosantos about the actions of the manufacturers like LaRue, I'm damn glad to have them on our side and appreciate it.
