Hi Guys,

Hunting around for two scopes at the moment, one in the reasonable end of the budget and one up in the higher price range. I have, so far, failed to find a reference list that would make the job easier.

If you can post here the brand & model of any scopes you know that have matching turrets and reticules (be it IPH/IPH, Mil/Mil or MOA/MOA) it might make the process easier for myself and others. *BUDGET IS NOT AN ISSUE* post anything be it the most expensive or cheapest this is just a list of options for people to investigate.

If you want to include other details such as FFP or SFP then please do so.

Mil/Mil - FFP:

Vortex
Nightforce
SWFA Super Sniper (Variable, Fixed Power and HD models).
IOR
US Optics
Hensoldt
Falcon Optics
Millet
Horus Vision
Bushnell
Schmidt & Bender
Weaver

What else is there?
Mueller?
Sightron?
March?
Japan Optics Ltd / Hakko?
Zeiss?
Burris?

If I get time I'll edit any suggestions into this first to post to make it more useful to others.

Re: Matched Turrets & Reticules

USO, S&B, Premier, and Hensoldt are some of the more costly ones that have matching turrets to reticles.

Bushnell just came out with a MIL on MIL FFP scope. They look nice but have not tested one out yet.

Will be a mixture of known range target shooting, varmint hunting and unknown distance target shooting.

I want matching reticules/turrets because it obeys the KISS principle. I have no issues with the maths of converting between different ones, but its just another unnecessary source of potential screw ups.

As for the actual rifles, scopes will be going on a .223, .208 and .22LR trainer. All will be mounted in 1913 spec picatinny rails with mil spec rings. I want to have the same optical system (though not necessarily the same scope) on all the guns.

I will work on that list, just need a bit more time in front of the keyboard
