Here ares some pic´s of my Mauser based rifles...

This is my 1942 Steyr made 98k






This is my "every day & bad weather" rifle, a jugo- mauser system" in .308 with Kongsberg-barrel, Recknagel- Trigger, Boyd- Stock and 6-25x56 Hakko Scope, selfmade mont, ...it is not a Beauty but
it is working well





This is a projekt is started with my father, a DWM Argentino Mauser system, recknagel trigger, straight CZ- stock, Walther 9,3x62 barrel, Zeiss 8x56 Scope, EAW- mount.
My favorite rifle in the wood...



At the moment i´m playing with this Rifle.
...again a DWM argentino mauser system (a good one), recknagel trigger, boberg stock, 45° safety lever, Walther barrel in 6,5x57 Mauser, Kaps 10x50 scope reticle N0. 4, simple EAW mount...

I like to test what this old cartridge (before 1900) is able to do...because 6,5mm is
popular...will i catch up to rifles in .260 Remington, 6,5x55, 6,5x47 ???

Nice Mausers, welcome to the board.

How is the glass on that Hakko scope? Never seen one over here.

The Scope is good for the range and you can use it in the woods, it has a fine retcle no.4 with a iluminated crosshair- point. You can chose the color of the point (green&red).
The Price in Germany has been ~500€ years ago.

I heared that Hakko was manufacturing for some other brands...

I had heard that too, which is one of the reasons I noticed it in your posts. What are the most popular brands in Germany?

Depends if you are a Hunter:
-> Zeiss, Schmidt&Bender, Kahles, Docter...

If you are a Shooter:

-> Leupold, Nightforce, Tasco, Hensoldt...

Nice Mauser's I am a bit of Mauser fan I only own a K98 ,its a Israeli captured rifle that they rebelled to 308.

I've got a Mauser based Remington rifle. The action is a little rough with quite a bit of friction.I keep the action lightly lubed. Is this typical of Mauser rifles? It's quite dependable and very accurate. I bought it not knowing much about bolt action rifles at the time so its action's feel was not relevant at the time. Just wish it felt a little silkier.

I tore down a swedish 96 years ago and built it up as a 7mm mauser on a stock I cut from a piece of my old barn. It's ugly as sin, but shoots good enough to hunt with. Think my next Mauser will be the Yugoslav gun you can get for about $100 turned into a 358 Winchester. Ought ot make a good brush gun.

There are so many different manufacturers and years and the same number of qualitys.
At the moment the Argentino DWM 1909 is the "best more or less" available quality you can get here.
Small tolerance, smooth gliding actions...and most of these actions have never been in field use.

The swedish Mauser 96 in 6,5x55 is very popular in service- rifle competitions...the Mauser 98K in 8x57Is is not "competitive" because of the sight and the more powerful recoil.

I like to shoot my 98k, although in summertime wearing a t- shirt the steel butt plate hurts...

Developed a real appreciation for the various Mauser variants from my dad. Those are nice looking rifles.

IMO the Mausers and the rifles that imitated them are the best bolt actions ever made.

Flat bottom receiver with integral lug, CRF. What more could you want?
