Maven RS 1.2 ... anyone have one ??

I just discovered the Maven RS 1.2 ... 2.5-15x44 ... And I am hoping to hear from others who may own one.

I have been considering the Leupold MK5 3.6-18 ... But the Maven looks quite interesting to me.

It will be mounted on a Seekins SP10 in 308 ... primarily just for range/target fun ... I do not compete.

Wondering about glass quality and eye-box ... also wondering about the tracking/turrets.

Just general thoughts from the few who may have experience with this scope.

The Maven is the Rokslide poster child. They all have raging stiffys over them. You can read pages of reviews over there lol.

The scope does check quite a few boxes though. I'm intrigued by uts feature and price point.

A little weird, isn't it? I was intrigued enough to buy one with their veteran discount for my NRL Hunter build, and although I haven't gotten it to the field, I've found nothing to complain about just messing around with it. Glass is good, turrets are good, reticle is usable as a duplex at 2.5, and center dot and mil hashes at about 4.5x for me. Do wish it had a locking elevation turret, but not a deal breaker for me.

I have one. I use it for a hunting scope and love it for that use case. The reticle is actually usable throughout the mag range and has a good field of view and a generous eyebox. For the price point it’s a great scope in my experience. I think I’ve shot 11 or 12 animals with it and never had anything to complain about. The turrets aren’t as good as the mk5 turrets but it’s in a totally different price point. It has a basic zero stop that functions and has tactile clicks but nothing to write home about. I have not experienced any tracking issues.
