This course is an Intermediate / Advanced skill level course for rifle shooters. Students must have a basic knowledge on safety rules, loading and unloading, and clearing malfunctions. This 2 day course is heavily based on becoming familiar with the uncomfortable aspects of kinetic environments. Gunfighter Evolution will include minor physical exertion and moderate mental preparation. Shooters looking to attend this course should be physically able to kneel, sit, and lay in awkward positions; and quickly recover from these positions. Students will be able to control cognitive dissonance during kinetic operation through familiarity with cover-based shooting and the understanding that there is no perfect scenario. Students will be capable to use their weapon (mind) and their tools (rifle and body) to mitigate threats to their mission, loved ones or themselves. There will be a free shoot period allowed afterwards depending on availability of instructor. Historically, combat has been pass-fail; as is this course.
