Can anyone tell me where to start looking for an A4? I have spent hours looking around the internet with no luck. I know JW used to have McM stocks but since he isn't selling them anymore I am having a hell of a time finding somewhere that sells them.

When I was looking at a used McM A5 stock, McMillan said they could add the adjustable saddle cheek piece to any non-adj stock for $116, which is how much the option is in the first place.

They may have overrun USMC A4 type stocks that I'm sure you'd be pleased with.

Re: McM A4

24 hour campfire to order one at a good price. Mine was delivered to my door in exactly 12 weeks from order date. Rick is great to deal with. JW Precision was great also, he just is out of business.. too bad.

Re: McM A4

Jello that is exactly what I am looking for. Hoping to get ahold of them on Monday. I really don't care if the damn thing is pink.

Going to be feeling up an AICS soon to see if I like them better. I doubt it since the A4 was just go comfortable in all positions to me.

Re: McM A4

I took the last A4 they had laying around the other day, I assume you are talking rem sa?

an option, which I was thinking about - you could order a completely uninletted stock and have someone do all the work on it... mcmillan told me that would only take about 3 weeks. this would literally be a boat paddle.

Re: McM A4

They list their stock inventory on their web site, I've looked a few times hunting down stocks myself. B.J. Bailey is first rate.<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: Huckelberry75</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Also try Third Generation Shooting Supply in El Reno, OK. Just ordered an A3 not too long ago. Had a decent selection.

Good luck,

Re: McM A4

I am also in the market, stocks are apparently the worst to find next to a new action... gonna have to buy a whole gun just for the damn action.

Re: McM A4

hmmm, I believe it was basic inlet. Wasnt a huge problem for me as I had it sent straight to my smith to bed it.

Bruno's may have some already inletted for certain actions. Give him a call and ask. Super helpful guy. I think I called 3 times to chat before I ordered.

Regards,
DT
