Hi guys,

Long time lurker, figured i'de post a question i cant seem to find..

I called Mcmillan about inletting my stock for CDI BDM...they are going to..(Savage 10fp 4.275 spacing.)

<span style="font-weight: bold">BUT...</span>
I heard that with savages they dont always get it right because of all the variations? (hearsay...true?)

Should i be concerned?

Thanks

Re: Mcmillan inlet CDI?

I just ordered a McM with CDI DBM yesterday and the girl at McM didn't seem too confident that they would inlet it right. That was for a Surgeon RSR which is same footprint as a Rem 700, so I would be worried even more with the less common Savage.

Re: Mcmillan inlet CDI?

I sent my bottom metal to McM since at the time they had never heard of CDI along with my Seekins too. Figured they would have taken dimensions while it was in house?

Re: Mcmillan inlet CDI?

We do take the dimensions while the customers bottom metal is in house. Just like we are going to do with Ethans CDI DBM for his savage since we haven't had one in here before. A CDI DBM for a Remmy doesn't fit a winchester, savage, etc...

Nice chatting with ya this morning Ethan.
