McMillan Olive Marble Stocks - Show off your builds with them

I am having Dana English build me two rifles, a 6.5x47 in a McMillan A5 and a 300 win mag in a McMillan Rem Varmint. Both are Olive Marble as I think this is the best looking color/combo out there. The barrel on the 6.5x47 is a M24 Bartlein and the barrel on the 300 win mag is Bartlein Rem Varmint/Sendero contour. I am planning on going with Straight Flutes on the 300 and possibly fluting the 6.5x47. I am also thinking about cerokoting the 300 wm black and 6.5x47 FDE. I would love to see other color combos that have been done with these stocks. Thanks fellas!

I fucking love this rifle. Once I get a rifle I'm buying paid for and buy a KAC LPR my next move is a 6MM Creemoor. It will either be in the form of an extra barrel for my AIAX or a build almost duplicating yours, most likely the build because I gotta have one of those stocks.

That's my short stick -- 20"bbl.. It's great for matches that require a lot of movement, hunting and suppressor use.

4-6 weeks but I am supplying him with ALL parts. Picked up a Surgeon 1086 with Mag Bolt Face from Greg at Bugholes for the 300 and going with a BAT Tactical action from Jamie Dodson at Wolf Precision on the 6.5x47. Bartlein barrels, Jewell triggers, and APA Little Bastard brakes on both. I just got both stocks in today and they are beautiful. Great pics guys!

(Post pics if possible after all this is a OD marble stock thread ) BTW, I had that 1086 added to my cart and was about to push the check out button but I couldn't think of anything else to build... LOL

I am going with the McMillan A5 on the 6.5x47 and McMillan Rem Varmint with hinged floorplate on the 300 win mag. I had to wait a few weeks before I could snag the 1086 and it was stressful knowing he only had 2. I bet I checked Bugholes 5+ times a day to make sure at least one was still there. I even called Greg to see if he would let me put a deposit down on one. A buddy of mine (Gray) runs the Bat Tactical action and thinks it is also top shelf so I am also excited about it on the 6.5x47. I went back and forth on the stock for the 300 "Hunting" rifle. I really like the look of your Sporter but went conservative with the Varmint. Your pics also have me questioning whether I want to go FDE on both guns or stick with Matte Black on the 300 and FDE on the 6.5x47.

Thank you, the barrel on the hunting rig is a Bartlein #3 finished at 24".
