Has anyone used these actions? I know they cost more than a Surgeon 591, and dosen't have an integral rail, recoil lug, but are they any good?

More specifically, has anyone used their CRF actions?

If anyone has one, how do you like it, and please post some pictures.

Thanks,

Re: McMillian G30 Actions

I have a MCRT, the last version G30 action, and its great I'm sure the G30 has the same aerospace tolerences. Its a very sooth action that has never faild me. There are alot of amazing actions out there for less ducets but if your like me and have to have something different than the G30 is the way to go because there are not many around. At least from what I've seen.

Re: McMillian G30 Actions

That is pretty much what I was thinking.

I'm just searching for a good solid CRF action and am unsure of the accuracy of the FN's compared to a Remington 700 action.

Are their any other CRF actions out their, and how good are the FN's?

Thanks,

If you're looking for an action which isn't common, take a look also at Barnard Precision over here in NZ. I don't have one, but hear very good things about them, particularly in the F Class area (they also do magazine fed receivers, conforming to the Remington 700 outside specs etc). Also given the extra rate between the States and us, you'd be able to pick one up for a steal I'd imagine.
