Has anyone run into this fanomanon with their steel AICS mags, they feed great with let's say 5 rounds in the mag yet with a full mag it's a slight fight to get the bolt to run round out of the mag. The magazines are pretty much brand new with a few range trips on them, the rounds sit nice and high so the bolt catches them with out any issue.

I’m having this issue with my 10rd mdt mags. Was told to adjust the feedlips. I haven’t gotten around to doing it yet though.

What cartridge are you running in them?

Nothing crazy just 6creedmoor

They should run fine with 6 Creedmoor. Inner edges of feed lips rough?

Edges are pretty smooth from what I can feel, it almost feels like to much spring tension pushing up against the feed lips

Mine ran flawless with a Bighorn in a Foundation and tikka in a x-ray. Didn’t have to touch the feed lips at all. 6mm, .308, and 6.5 all good.

They feed awesome when the round count gets low and they are feeling a big horn origin in a bravo

Heard newer springs are thicker. They will send you older thinner springs if you contact them.

Leave them fully loaded for some time and see if the spring sets a bit.

There’s a lot of spring to lift 12-13 rounds, and there will always be more effort required to strip off the top round of a full mag.

I'll leave them loaded up for a while and see if they loosen up a little with spring compression.

No issues from 2 10 rounders and 1 12 rounder in an origin and bravo

Had the same problem on mdt 10 rounders and I can barely get 9 in them.

Just received my 12 rounders. I’ll try to fully load them and try them out tomorrow.
