MDT is excited to announce the launch of our new flagship chassis, the MDT ACC Elite.

The MDT ACC Elite is the most advanced competition chassis system available. It provides top-tier shooters with instinctual point-and-shoot control through perfect balance. You will find targets faster and be more precise. Each element of the ACC Elite is stiffer, more adjustable, and balanced to create the perfect rifle/shooter interaction.

The MDT ACC Elite Chassis System is an advanced fusion of design and engineering created for the Elite professional shooters. Each ACC Elite Chassis is assembled from CNC machined 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum with Black, FDE, or Titanium Blue Cerakote finish. Highlights include; a longer, wider, and stronger forend with integrated ARCA rail; a taller, adjustable magazine well; improved geometry on the new SRS-X Elite Buttstock, and redesigned Vertical Grip Elite with a connector bar. The Remington 700 SA inlet chassis weighs 6.1 lbs and is 37.4” long from forend to buttstock.

2. Eliminated removable endcap so that there is no way to add/remove internal weights unless barreled action is removed. Still compatible with up-to 1.250" straight barrels
3. Drilled and tapped holes along top of forend for NV and Control Bridges
4. Included, optional grip tape for underside of forend
5. Thicker/wider forend for added rigidity
6. R-Lok machined to RRS Spec. along underside of forend
7. M-Lok removed from underside of forend where it was not necessary for additional rigidity
8. Barricade stop made 1/2" taller and more aggressive
9. Optional, user installed mag well dowels added to adjust magazine fit, with optional front dowels for undersized, polymer magazines
10. Press-fit steel bushings added under action screws, and low tolerance, hardened steel washers added
11. Adjustable mag latch (+1.5mm/-2.5mm (4 mm total) travel)
12. Optional, user installed grip tape on either side of trigger guard for additional safety and indexing when transitioning with a fully built match rifle
13. M-Lok adjustable thumb shelf that can be attached on either side of the chassis
14. New grip/connector bar design that is modular and backwards compatible
15. Grip allows ~13.8 mm/0.55" back-and-forth adjustment and +/- 5 degrees of cant

We don't have a date for this yet but the grip with connector bar and buttstock will likely be available sometime in the new year.

If you remove the butt pad portion that slides up and down, you now have access to the screws that adjust the cant. The ACC Elite version also has the ability to shift the butt pad left and right horizontally in relation to chassis centerline.

We have the 6x optional dowels that allow you minorly adjust the fit of the magazine in the mag well. By adding the side dowels, it reduces side-to-side rattle, but makes insertion and drop-free harder. The front dowels are there just to support the front of undersized, polymer magazines (mostly for rimfires). Also, mag latch can adjust up and down to better position the magazine relative to the action.

I mean you do you, but I think most would agree it doesn't make a ton of sense to put a $1600 chassis on a $400 rifle. I have a Ruger American that I used to shoot deer with, I put a cheapo Kydex cheek riser on it just for some better fit, if you want a chassis look at either the XRS or Oryx

That's a reasonable reaction. Laughing accomplishes nothing. Ruger is pretty new in their American line. Who knows, maybe Ruger could have made some improvements in the future. I like their guns. I don't see why it's an unrrasonable answer.

I liked the wheel because depending on what I am doing, I could close my eyes, adjust, and open up to confirm where I am at.

Outside of that, I put my order in today. Biggest thing for me is the shorter buttstock and the fact I just have a barreled action now.

Does it get rid of the chassis "ring" and the scope "buzz" that comes with a chassis? It looks like the only other option for that is a foundation, which after getting an arca rail and weights to balance out a foundation stock, it ends up being the same price.

Also, we made a conscious effort to keep every fastener on the chassis to a drive size of 1/8" (included on the buttstock), T10 (included on the buttstock) and 3/16" for the action screws

Our assembly team has expanded dramatically in the last few months to keep up with demand, so I hope that we can reduce lead times on these along with other chassis, magazines, bipods, levels, etc. soon!

FYI anyone interested…..

It appears the bolt release on surgeon actions bottoms out on the top of the ACC Elite.

Unknown if it’s enough to matter. But it will pinch a piece of paper.

Not a complaint as most aren’t going to be running surgeon. Just noticed it with an action we have here on the shelf.

It was only a few little things, main grip screw, and some of the finishes (silver screws vs black etc). Not an issue, we only noticed as we were assembling them side by side.
