MDT AICS Mags and BR Kits

Bummed to see these won’t work the the Curtis actions.

Any particular reason they won’t work? Just from glancing it looks like the Curtis strips rounds from the mag like any other push feed action.

Curtis has a bigger diameter bolt (no idea why they elected to do that). It's also a 3 lug vs 2 lug which can interfere somewhat with some mags. Mapgul polymer mags for example are a bit rough in my Curtis Axiom action, but works flawlessly with AI, MDT etc

Is there any ETA on when the next batch will ship? I've got a match next month and realllly hoping to get them before then. I use AI AICS mags with the PVA kit and they were flawless for about 250-300 rounds each, then on Day two of a match started jamming. My guess is they needed some oil in the sliding groove and a little cleaning. After I did that they appear to be alright now. Just too finicky. Really hoping these MDT BR mags are as reliable and dirt resistant as their 308 mags.

What @generalzip said about the larger bolt diameter is true on the Curtis compatibility @cecztayl . Not saying that there is a 100% failure rate, just a much higher percentage than we are comfortable with.

As for the ETA on the magazines shipping, we are fulfilling backorders as fast as we can, so depending on when you ordered your mags, they should be shipping very soon!

I've bought two chassis, pic rail, stock, a couple of sets of mags, etc. from MDT over the past year. Every question I've submitted to MDT support was answered within a couple of hours. Every time I've reached out to @MDT_Josh via PM I've gotten a timely response. We are blessed to have a lot of great vendors in this sport, and MDT's responsiveness to my requests has consistently set a standard no one else has reached (EDIT: Vudoo. Vudoo is top-rung as well.).

In short, MDT is a class act with whom I originally got acquainted through their being a sponsor of the Guardian Long Range Competition. Keep up the good work, guys.

sure wish you would make these in 10 round capacity for us behind enemy lines.

Im Curious can you own AW mags? They say 10 but they really hold at least 11. I’m sure legally you can’t but is it fairly common for people to own them in 10 round ban states? Sorry to derail just curious as I used to live in jersey where the capacity recently went from 15 to 10
