We were watching a field that is 300 yards long and the farthest shot I got on any of these hogs was 250. Dad took the first hog with his Rem 700 VS .223 and I took the next three with my Rem 700 5r .308. Dad was using a 53 grain HP matching and I was using 125 spitzer's.
