I can see why they're doing this; they have everything to lose as not only did most of them basically facilitate the utter bullshit with how Biden was in the lead the entire time, how Biden is so great, Trump is bad, jumping over themselves to call states way ahead of time and now.....want to tell you how you may be a tiny bit right, but they are still completely in the right....so shut up and go away.

They now focus on only a few small things that wouldn't be of consequence as well as one single glitch that was caught and fixed. According to them, that is ALL that everyone is screaming about, and its fixed/not a big deal, so don't worry about it anymore.

I think the oh shit moment is going to be that the fraudsters in PA can't identify under audit to what votes showed up before/after the deadline and they take any votes that can't be confirmed as prior to deadline and toss them. If you recall, Trump was up big at the deadline and this could be a presidence for the other states where the exact same thing happened.

The 'news' will be up in arms about how we're now stealing the election and use the 'theyre silencing your vote' angle to try and stir up their bullshit some more.

Reporting will now be about how they estimate MILLIONS of peoples' votes now wont count and it undermines the entire election process in hopes to now make everyone feel how illegitimate the election is; you know, like how we all feel right now.

It all makes sense to me now. When I was younger, my grandparents would tell me about pre-war/wartime goings on.

Obviously, I'd initially think that they were nuts or what they told me couldn't have actually happened, since I was young. Double down on that with the naive thoughts of 'that wouldnt happen now' or 'people would have stopped that', it took years for me to figure out it was all true, and now, that we're actually living in the middle of parts of it.

They were much worse off as there was no internet, cell phones, no random youtube cell phone video, no online places at your fingertips to see alternative versions of whats happening, forums to get on, etc. It was all told to you via the radio. Not alot of people traveled alot and everything was 'local'. So once the 'news' said something, thats what happened because, why wouldnt it be? Everyone heard the same thing, from the same news, given by the same people that everyone was told have high integrity, so that was that. Who was to argue? Why wouldn't it be correct? Why shouldn't I think that this is good/bad, like its being reported and slanted into whatever direction that is wanted?

Same thing now. Trump could cure cancer and there would be an entire news cycle dedicated to 'why this is bad and why you should agree that this is bad' right afterwards.

We get the exact same driven propaganda now as they did, but we at least have the power to let out whats really happening, opposing views and can see things for ourselves. Other than that aspect, this has to be close to what was going on in pre war Germany/Europe as far as 'news'.

The media, whether Fox or CNN etc is an industry owned by a concentrated and connected few. This is first and foremost about the dollars between the owners and the politicians that pander to them. In same way that corps. pander to politicians in this country via the absurdly legal vehicle of lobbying, the pols. do it to for the media coverage because they define their brand through the channels of media.

Back when the pols in DC would actually leave DC and go to their constituencies, they would define their brand and image by actually being there, amongst the peeps and doing shit. Now, however, it's almost 24/7 in DC and when they are in their constituencies, they're mostly at fund raisers and in special interest 'meetings'.

The machinations of politics, media and industry have become as interwined as a supply chain network of a large automotive plant and local industries and communitities. It's become truly symbiotic. Trump was to MSNBC and CNN what Obama was to the gun industry. A wonderful event commercially (pardon the pun) speaking.

We can only break this cycle when we demand a change in how we hold pols accountable and how closely we scrutinize them in elections and vote them out when they're shit. When it truly becomes performance based politics, it'll become good politics.
