    Hey everyone,

I am currently negotiation additional deals through Midway USA and I want to know what products you buy the most that you would want deals on ?

They recently provided the site with some promo codes and I am trying to get them to expand on those and I want to know what everyone is interested in so i can focus the deal I think I can leverage for you guys.

Here is the original promo code, plus we have the $100 off the Weaver Scope,

    These are all valid 6/1 – 6/30.

    Retail customers only (No dealers)

Excludes gift certificates & Nightforce products.

Limit one per customer and one promo code per order.

    In-stock products only.

    Offers:

    $10 off $50 – Promo Code: 223610

    $50 off $500 – Promo Code: 308610

    $100 off $1000 – Promo Code: 338610

So, let me know what else you think is important, perishable stuff, like targets, cleaning equipment etc.

If you know Midway has it and you want a deal on it, post it here:

    Thanks

Re: member's input needed -MidwayUSA Deal

I buy most of my reloading supplies from them. Powder throwers , scales, presses, bullets, cases etc etc. Harris bipods on sale would be nice too, or is that off limits.

Re: member's input needed -MidwayUSA Deal

Any discount on powder to help off set the Hazmat fee. They have the best prices I have seen (local) but the Hazmat fee makes it about $20 more than the stores here.

Re: member's input needed -MidwayUSA Deal

Midway is usually my first hit when I am looking for something, I don't already have a reference store for.
It really can be anything for me, but the vast majority reloading supplies (powder, primers, brass, bullets) are bought somewhere else. I bought many dies from them though.
Most (if not all) my cleaning supplies come from Midway.
Also, other things related to reloading (trays, mats, ammunition cases, small tools, ...) are mostly looked up at Midway first.
Small random firearms parts too (springs, triggers/parts, pins, screws, ...), and gunsmith tools, get a price/availability check from Midway.
Most rare are cases when I bought stocks and barrels, but had happened.
LL, when you talk to them, tell then to speed up their friggenly slow ass web site (which used to be pretty quick a few years ago).

Re: member's input needed -MidwayUSA Deal

I'm a heavy hitter on Midway and usually buy reloading stuff. Deals on 168SMK or Nosler 168 Custom Comps.

Really any thing reloading would be sweet! Thanks Lowlight!

Re: member's input needed -MidwayUSA Deal

I think everything they sell is on the table...

Reloading supplies is easy, I will definitely put that front and center.

I want as many things that are important to you guys, because I am pretty sure I can secure a decent deal from them. So the more I go to the table with, the more i think I can get.

All we have to do use their promo codes, they are tracking that stuff, the more traffic they see the better the deals I can command. And I want to push hard for really good deals.

Re: member's input needed -MidwayUSA Deal

Ammo, and lots of it. (Black Hills 175grn .308 Match in particular)

I called them about 2 hours ago to see what was cooking with some Hornady 6.5 Grendel ("Out of stock, back order okay") I told the gal I got their reminder alert set-up. (Expected delivery date 7/22/10) but asked if I should just go ahead and buy now just in case there was a waiting list.........That's when she told me there were already 400 boxes on back order! If they could get Hornady to keep them in stock, they would rule a growing market.

P.S. thanks for the promo codes, I'll be putting them to some good use.

I agree w/ The Mechanic. Reloading supplies, AR parts, and otherwise all over the board.

Re: member's input needed -MidwayUSA Deal

I just opened a box from them. Bullets, brass, and die lock rings. Pretty much all of my reloading supplies come from Midway with exception of powder and primers which I get from powder valley in bulk. I get a lot of little parts from them (midway) as well, trigger springs for upgrades and such.

Re: member's input needed -MidwayUSA Deal

Oh awesome! 175 HPBT SMK for sure, as well as powder.

Hey wait. I just noticed the title of this thread...

You want me to input my member????????

Re: member's input needed -MidwayUSA Deal

I'm all over the place but usually hit reloading supplies the hardest .............just used the SH code and saved $50 last week !

A nice cut off high end optics would be nice ........

    Thanks LL !

Re: member's input needed -MidwayUSA Deal

I just thought of some more stuff. Factory pistol ammo, badger bases, rings. I know badger stuff was already mentioned but its worth another mentioning. Thanks for doing this for us LowLight.

Re: member's input needed -MidwayUSA Deal

I purchase pretty much all my shooting supplies from them as no local stores really have what I need. I've been averaging about one order a week from them with one waiting on a backorder before I place it now.

Re: member's input needed -MidwayUSA Deal

For them to accept a phone call from a Canadian customer, let alone actually sell items (that are not restricted, obviously) to Canadians.

When a call is made from Canada, it is re-directed to a dead line. There are so many things there, that are essentially not heard of at the local "hack'n'quack" shops here.

I know I'm dreaming on the reloading components... but reloading equipment and other accoutrement would sure be nice to be able to get.

Re: member's input needed -MidwayUSA Deal

I like to order from Midway. They have fast service, and I like the fact that you always know if your item is in stock or not. Even if it is a penny or two higher(or lower) in price. Midway is just plain simple, and easy to order from.

What irritates me the most about Midway is their shipping costs. I ordered three bricks of 22 sub-sonic ammo last night from them. They charged me over $16 to ship that box. Now that is ridiculous. I doubt if they pay 1/2 that much to ship that box.

My experience with Midway is always fun until I get to their shipping charges.

So my suggestion is to have some sort of shipping discount. That is applicable to all orders. Whether a discount code is used or not. Just an across the board Sniper's Hide shipping discount. Now that would be great. And it would not cost Midway anything, because they are over charging on their shipping to start with. I am not asking for free shipping, just reasonable priced shipping. Tom.

try living in Alaska, that 16 bucks would be 50

Re: member's input needed -MidwayUSA Deal

yea +1 on the shipping. I snagged one of the midway shooting mat's that went on sale and 2 sets of ears and the shipping cost was 22 bucks from MO to IN. The promo code helped but wow

Re: member's input needed -MidwayUSA Deal

they have decent barrels if i remember right too, uso scopes, ammo, reloading supplies, shit i think they have mcmillan stocks too. maybe a discount on those.

Re: member's input needed -MidwayUSA Deal

I agree the masses on discounted reloading supplies. Prices can be a little higher then some of the other suppliers, but I would rather by everything from one vendor instead of shopping around. It is true that the shipping is kinda b.s. but what is somebody to do? I know personally for me, thier shipping rates are right on par with the sales tax that I am not paying. Nobody in my area stocks anything reloading that sells. I know I have seen the same box of 110 gr .30cal vmax at one place here that has to be circa 1999.

Re: member's input needed -MidwayUSA Deal

Reloading supplies and Dies is what I buy most of. Then just random gun parts for repair and upgrade. And final accessories like rings, bases, bipods.

I really have only bought optics from them on sale. Mainly Aimpoints. Never bought ammo from them.

Re: member's input needed -MidwayUSA Deal

Reloading supplies and equipment would be a great start. I'd also love to see gun parts as part of the deal if possible. Actions, barrels, receivers, springs, triggers.... many of us do some kind of work on our own rigs so I think that discount as well could save us a lot of money.

I agree!!! Maybe you could get them to do a break on shipping with a promo code.

Winning either match is easy here are two things you can do:

    1. Bride the staff with generous amounts of cash

    2. Change your name to Terry Cross

Either one of those two things is almost guaranteed to put a win next to your name.

Re: member's input needed -MidwayUSA Deal

Thank your sir. I am about to place an order. Love the promo codes:

    223
    308
    338

Is the 610 related to the SW610? LOL
