Meredith Rifles visit

I had the opportunity to meet Tooter Meredith of Meredith Rifles today.
My Remington 5R barrel had an issue with threading for a Thunderbeast suppressor. Tooter took quite a bit of time looking over the rifle and giving me options to fix it.
I had envisioned a barrel pull, cut back, rethreading. Tooter he said that while he would like to take my money for all that work, in the end he ending up fixing the problem at absolutely NO COST to me.
I also had the chance to look at some of the rifles he is building. I really wanted to wreck my savings account with the ones he had for sale. Impressive shop and equipment.
Needless to say, I will be going back to Meredith.

You didn't see him working on a 6.5x55ai did you???? LOL. He has been working on one for me for just barely over a month. I called him last week and he said the stock had arrived and It should be ready in a week or so. I can't wait. He has been very easy to work with through the whole process and I would highly recommend him.

He had a few stocks that were curing after being bedded and what looked like a large box of stocks just dropped off by FedEx.

I've been down there twice and have known Tooter for several years. He's a darn good smith, and good at everything else he touches too.

Stay out of Tooter's shop. Lance, you probably saw my barreled action he is finishing up per a phone call today. You gents keep visiting and putting him behind.

Tooter is a good one to have on speed dial. This is my second rifle and he will do more for me.
