I couldn't find our food thread. So I am starting the Christmas food thread. I will start by sharing my prime rib as I smoke and cook it today. More pics to come throughout the day. Merry Christmas to all.

Ribs that were marinating since Wednesday, boiled in apple juice for 90 mins and finished over the coals along with garlic bread, spuds and a fine single malt scotch. Even found some , if not the only good export from Canada, Moose head beer! Just my wife, my daughter, and myself.

The giving of gifts on this day is always special for most and shows the recipient that they are held in a high regard and are clearly important. For those who are away and unable to share this particularly Blessed day (all our days are blessed) with those closest to them, please accept my best tidings today and a sincere thank you! CLCustom1911, thank you for sharing with us! Take care, be well & stay safe!

No pics but we did Monte Cristo crepes. Raspberry preserves, provolone or cheddar cheese (was all we had), sliced turkey, cubed black forest ham, powdered sugar all on the inside. Super good. We normally just do the crepes with butter and powdered sugar and eat with syrup.
