Noticed S&W came out with this

Double stack SAO, though the grip straps and trigger leave a little to be desired, and the price point makes me wonder on the quality.

Anything else similar?

There are other double stack 1911’s that aren’t 2011’s… paras, caspians, the wilson poly, etc. A 2011 is an SV/STI 2011 or derivative

Always thought a 2011 was a double stack 1911

Ether way, any other micro double stack 1911s?

I’d love a nice MICRO double stack SAO 1911

I’m not a YouTube type who crams a big gun AIWB, nor do I dress or change my day for what I’m carrying, to me that’s a mission fail, for the warm weather I like a good pocket carry gun, love my 938, but a few more rounds would be nice, especially if I could find one with a proper light slide type trigger out the box.

The SW isn't a 1911. The 1911 wasn't the first single action pistol and the 2011 wasn't the first double stack single action pistol. The only similarities are the tilting browning barrel.

Different price point, but another alternative for those who want a 1911 style double stack. For shooters, like my wife, who have a problem with the grip size of a traditional double stack 1911 or 2011 preventing them from being able to keep their thumb on top of the safety while still running the trigger and pressing in the grip safety. The frame is the grip and the grip safety is no more. WC recently released a 4" model which we will get for her in the near future.

Those are nice

Comparable to that but a little easier on the wallet, check out the Bul Armory SAS II Ultralight, also comes cut for Shield/RMSC (if you're into those)

Can also get one with a compensator if that's your thing.

The wilson is pretty darn nice and a nail driver, 2/3 ipsc are in trouble at 100yds with mine. It is just thinner than a 2011 grip and more rounded. Also mags are cheaper and have a better track record than the 2011 mags

Edc 9x with a sti tac 4.0 with c2 grip

Azbiker linked that sfx9 about 7 posts ago. They're nice, but unless you carry weird or are anorexic, the 15rd mag will be used more than the 10rd

How so?

I’ll look at specs tonight, but with the 10rd flush mag it looks about the same size as my 938, and that works for pocket carrying in a Adams holster like a champ.

Same reason most people don't buy g26. The grip is so short that it is not the quickest to get a good grip and quick presentation. The only people I've ever saw with a g26 have a 12rd or g19 mag in it.

Just hold the pinkey out fancy like ;)

I have good sized hands, but ideal body weight, my 938 is about prefect just wished it had a couple more rounds and a little more refinement, even after spending its price in springs, trigger, grips, sights, guide rod, etc

If you don't have a gut, you can carry a real pistol aiwb. A buddy has a 938, after handling it I told him I hope he never needs to use it in anger. Super small thumb safety that was extremely hard to disengage. Trigger made me long for my shadow system, lol. I can carry all those pistols in my earlier pic, with just a t shirt and never print. Aiwb is the way.

I feel good on the draw on my 938, and I agree with the trigger, I put a new trigger and springs on mine, huge improvement, however it’s silly that sig made a mini 1911 but used a pivot trigger vs a sliding trigger IMO.

No gut, only thing is weather wise shorts and a Hawaiian or light T shirt are pretty common, as is the high temp and humidity.

If thin, small, hicap are main requirements, a g43x or 48 with shield mags are great. I know it's no 1911 trigger, but they can be made to have 4ish lb triggers with great reset and all safeties intact.

Be nice to see one of the Wilson sub compacts in person, worse case I’ll just stick with my 938, it’s great in its role, but always on the lookout for greater

The SFX9 is pretty small but still noticeably large than a 938. I'm a fan of the 938. It for me it shot just as well if not better than many of the other micro compacts.

With a new trigger and springs they are so far the best I could find to fit my mission

Look at the Enigma System for an Appendix holster system, go watch some Youtube videos on it.

You may be inclined, initially, to think, my God, what ass hammering fag would wear such a thing, but it works.

Sweatpants, shorts, whatever, and a normal cotton Undershirt T-shirt, I can conceal my Wilson Combat P320 Carry with its 21 round mag in it.

It eliminates you needing to wear a belt, you still can, but if you're going to be, you may as well run a normal appendix holster. But with this you don't need to, also makes tucking a shirt in much much easier if you're wearing it because you wear a suit and need something easily tuckable and very discreet.

This Enigma thing just works, it does what it aims to do. So you put this belt contraption on, it's quick, has the neatest magnetic buckle you'll ever see in your life, and then your sweatpants, dress pants, whatever, go over it. You can now wear your gun super low to up by your chin I suppose if you wanted to, whatever.

Anyways, you can throw it on, throw on gym shorts, throw on a T-shirt, and go jog, go buy some weed from your local guy, get a $2 hooker and still not be able to pay her, or whatever it is people who dress like shit do on a daily basis.

Now you can do it while wearing a proper firearm.
