Middle Georgia guys

PM sent -

Also, to the more experienced shooters who will be out there for this. I'd appreciate if one of you could shoot a few rounds from my rifle (obviously not counting towards the match). I'd really like to get an idea of what the rifle is capable and eliminate myself as a variable.
I'd appreciate any advice and suggestions for improvement as well.

Thanks in advance and I'm looking forward to meeting y'all down there!

Havent seen any new posts so I'm hoping that things are almost ready for us. Plan on stopping by onn Friday, just to make sure that I know where to be Saturday morning, then heading over to the hotel. Looking forward to the trip and being there.

Am I missing the address somewhere?

I need to know where to point my vehicle. Also, any chance the range will be open for a bit of plinking after the match? I've got a new scope I'd like to try out.

we are still a go for saturday(even though the entire state shut down from the ice) . the address was mentioned in the first post but if you missed it ( 1736 upper cove rd, Woodbury Ga 30293) if time permits, im sure we could shoot after the match once clean up of targets and gear is done.

Middle Georgia guys

Thank you to all who put this match on. The Columbia boys had a blast, learned a little, and found we had A lot left to learn. Thanks to all who helped and those who tolerated our ignorance. It was an awesome time.

Thanks to all involved.

Are scores going to posted by team number?

Thanks for everyone coming out. Hope everyone had a good time. Thanks again to all the guys who came early to help set up and all the guys who helped out with R/O. Also to Scott Vandiver for having the match. It was good to see so many new faces and hope to see them more in the future. My hat goes off to the true professionals who came. Professionals not just in the aspect of how good they shot but how they helped not only with the match but with the new guys. One of these gentleman saw one of his main competitors rifle go down and let him use his for the majority of the match! I will have to check with vandiver about posting scores.

Another big thanks to those that put it on and to those that answered all of my questions. As a first-timer, I really appreciated the help.

Also, if anyone found a camp jacket with a hood, I seem to have misplaced it out there.
Zach, Brandon - any chance it's in the back of the truck?

It may have also been left out on the top ridge by the yellow prone platform.

Anyways…thanks again! I had a great time and am looking forward to the next learning opportunity!

Thanks to all who came out to shoot with us. I had a great time and enjoyed meeting some new friends.
As for the scores; I handed out the score sheets and did not get them back so posting correct numbers would be hard.
I can tell you that the first place team hit 71 targets, second place was about 47, third was 45, forth and fifth were low 40's.
I think last place was 11 targets.
The goal for Saturday was fun and learning. we like to give people the opportunity to get off the bench as much as possible.
For those that did not hang around after the match we had 3 guys ring steel at 1500 yards. (not planned for the next match)

Anyone that had problems with the match or would like to learn more about shooting longer ranges. I am teaching the Guerrilla Sniper class April 4-6 in Blakley Ga on their unknown distance range. night sniper lesson included.
register here. Guerrilla Sniper I - Blakely, GA

What a great way to spend a saturday. I really enjoyed the one day format that involved a good number of rounds fired and a reasonable match fee. Count me in for the next match!

Gunshinestate- I'll check with Brandon and see if he found your jacket in his pickup, not sure if he's seen this thread or not.
