Wasn't aware this was in the safe act....I'm done...anyone looking to hire a Project Engineer with a BE in mechanical engineering? I want out.

    "Dear Vincent,

In On January 14, 2013, the NY Safe Act was signed into law. A portion of this new law restricts the sale of ammunition into the state of New York after January 14, 2014 by requiring all retail ammunition sales to occur face to face.

In order to ensure all ammunition is delivered prior to the active date of the law, as of today, we unfortunately will no longer be able to ship ammunition to New York State.

This law also affects current ammunition backorders with MidwayUSA. If we are currently holding backordered ammunition that is in stock, waiting on other products to ship, we are sending the ammunition out today to ensure full compliance with the law. If your backordered ammunition is not in stock, we unfortunately have to cancel it.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

CT sounds like it has it worse right now but Id imagine we aren't very far behind the same situation.

Where the hell have you been for the past year !

Thanks tomcat mv. I'll be sending you a PM. A few of you have been generous and PMing me and I honestly appreciate it.

I've clearly still had a foot under a rock to miss this! Reloading was the next step I was looking into but this whole situation doesn't look like it will be getting better anytime soon and most likely will worsen.

Just don't want to be punished for owning and operating my rifles by the law and safely. For medical reasons with my heart I cant do most sports/hobbies and shooting is one of the few I really enjoy and can do just a well as the next guy(providing I put in the time). May not be a huge reason to try and up and move but for me its a bit more important than that and I'm young with nothing really holding me here so why not try now.

It's not near as much to do with arms/ammunition regulation as it is with regulating or controlling your personal sovereignty, i.e., what you can own, where you can live, what you can eat...

    It goes on...

Thanks .30Nate been trying to get in there, well see if I get any call backs.

And yea that soda limit failed before it even took effect when people decided they would just buy 2 smaller sodas...I'm really not trying to make this political but there are honestly some really dumb ass people in places they shouldn't be. Makes you wonder.
