I've searched for the last hour to find info that provides an answer to my question but to no avail...sorry if there's duplication, but can't seem to find it:
I have one scope that is Mil/MOA configuration that I need to make darn sure I understand so that I can 'dial in' my elevations. I have used the hold-over method, but would like to broaden my brain power just a bit.
What is the calc for getting to the number of clicks needed to adjust for bullet drop on a mil/MOA scope? Knowns: Distance (500 yards), bullet drop (say for sake of calculation that I have 20 inches of drop), elevation knob @ 1/4MOA @ 100 yards.
Thanks.
Shane
