Thats a damn fine tip Frank. Thanks for throwing that out

Re: Mil's to MOA chart

I got two slide rules here in my top drawer.

All the calculations you could ever want.

Don't laugh--we designed the A-Bomb with those things!

Re: Mil's to MOA chart

BTW, Lowlight, I use .3 mil per MOA and I'm about 10 percentage points closer on the conversion than you.*

When I go mental on it.

Seriously, I'm just using this to get my "real" estimated range after either getting it mentally or giving up: http://www.androidzoom.com/android_applications/tools/reticle-ranger_icgx.html?nav=related

I also have a *few* useful conversions committed to memory, like every 4 inches is about .1 meter or 1/9 of a yard (about .11). My first notable success was a 1-foot 2-liter soda bottle out at UKD, calculating from 1/3 of a yard target size. Center-punched THAT plastic, THEN a much smaller can!

*Or are you seeking competitive advantage by putting forth mild disinformation...?

Re: Mil's to MOA chart

I just use a Iphone app I found. I just input the Mils or MOA and it transfers it to the other. so if i do an input for Mils the output is for MOA and if I input MOA the output is Mils.
