I had a mink cruising through the snow in my yard this morning.
I guess the repeated snows have got all the local animals hungry.
It's the first mink that my family has seen on the farm in 85 years.

Tucker, I can sit and watch that video you have for a couple of hours. She is oh so very HOT!!!

Re: Mink!

Mink are all over and most people never suspect it. One of my hunting spots I frequently see mink. I see their tracks in the snow behind where I work and it is just a ditch line in a built up area. If there is food and cover they will be there.

You probably saw a weasel not a ferret. They turn white in winter and they get stained yellowish later in the season.

Re: Mink!

I used to trap the stinky little bastards back in the early 80's. Caught my first one by mistake so I did a little research and went after more. They were plenty of them around I didn't even know it. They like remote areas with water and cover.

Re: Mink!

I live near a creek here in Southern Kentucky and minks are common. One time while fishing the creek in a jonboat a mother mink was taking her kits (minklings?) across the creek in her mouth. Most recent sighting was one run over on the highway about 20 miles from here last week.
