Night Vision Mission Impossible - Someone figure out how to mount a PAS23

on a dovetail (or something that can attach to a dovetail) over my RIGHT eye. Apparently, wanting it over my right eye is causing all sorts of issues as this puts (I think?) the battery on top and nowhere to mount to.

Would love to give those faggots at FLIR the finger with their Bosun Breach bullshit and just get a PAS23 for the helmet to fit on the universal bridge next to my PVS14 when I want to flip it down for some quick thermal, but this mounting issue is killing this idea.

Anyone dealt with this?

Tried that, they seem to be around 2x the price and 4x the price of the FLIR.

The dovetail plate on the NIVISYS MUM-14 is what you want as it is perfect replacement for the OEM 1/4x20 plate.

I scavenged the dovetail on the unused side of my MUM-14 for this, though I'd imagine you could get one directly from NIVISYS

FWIW: The OEM plate does have a dab of adhesive so don't surprise if it doesn't simply fall off when the two hex screws are remove. Best to thread a tripod plate on and rock it side to side to break the adhesion interface.
