Rifle Scopes Mixed reports on Vortex Razor AMG rifle scope

Mine is one of the first to hit the streets and still going atrong. It's been swapped around in many different rifles.

Thanks, are the optics better than the mark 5hd? The mark 5 with illumination is the same price as the amg, and I don’t like Leupolds mil rets.

I had mine for quite a while and it served me very well, had an issue soon after I got it and sent it in to Vortex and they had it back to me in less than a week, never had a problem after that. I do not like Leupold's reticles but I do like the EBR-7 series, that and 30mm vs. uncommon 35mm tube tips the hat towards the AMG, but there are many happy Mark 5 owners, I do love the Mark 5 turrets.

I’ve had the AMG for over a year. I’ve used it for matches and hunting without issues. I’ve also had a couple mark 5 3.6-18s and preferred the AMG. Mostly due to reticle selection. Glass is fine in both scopes. I sold the mark 5 and still have the AMG. The EBR 7 reticle is my personal favorite of the many reticles I have used.
