Re: moa or mil
MOA and Mil is like comparing miles to kilometers. They're both units of measure, you can convert between them using a standard coefficient, and it really doesn't matter which one you use but it's a hell of a lot easier if you're consistent.
So speaking to your current issue:
Either get a NXS with MOA turrets and the NP-R1 or Mil turrets and the MLR (or possibly mildot.) That way if you read your miss as being 1.1 Mil using the reticle all you have to do is dial 1.1 Mil of adjustment in your turrets (or the same thing with the NP-R1 and an MOA reticle.)
There are LOTS and LOTS of discussions of which one is better, usually started by someone asking the same basic question as you and everyone always agrees that it doesn't matter as long as your turrets match your reticle.
