Not sure where to post this, Vintage bolt, Hunting???
I used this rifle on a prairie dog infestation that was moving onto our land to great success.
It is a tack driver and had 17 kills when I held wrong and got a miss.
It shoots where I aim it. 2 stage trigger is great, gives you time to move if necessary. Very clean break.
I will keep it along as I move out to the longer shots with my .223 knowing it is good for the close shots,80m.+or-.

Re: mod,W625B BSW prairie dog killer

I don't have a camera that will do it nor the computer skills to do it
I am working on both.
When I got it, it was packed with cosmoline and took me the best part of a day to clean it up. The bore was packed full. Dusty and ugly. When I was done cleaning it I was amazed at how nice it was. Like new.
Without a doubt, the most accurate 22 I have and a dream to shoot. I handle it with kid gloves. Regards, FM

I cleaned and OILED this rifle this AM them took it out and gave the prairie dogs another go-round with it.
Cold bore just cleaned bbl. put down a PD at about 85m.
As I cleaned this I am still amazed at the mach. fit etc. that this has.
I don't know how to tell if it was built by Simpson or after the takeover. SN15412X
It is nice and I love to exercise the vintage rifles and give them a good go over when cleaning.
