There was a good story yesterday and a plausible one... That the FUSSR interference was not about helping Trump.. But was sending Hillery the "we have the goods on you" message.
Noone expected a Trump win. Why would Putin be different? He expected Hillary and had all the good blackmail material he needed.
Now the irony is, the left screaming that Putin has dirt on Trump.... And that's why we are not being tougher? Balderdash... We aren't being tougher because this new Cold War is ersatz... A made up event by outgoing admin, the media, left in congress, never-Trumpers... In short... The Swamp...
We should not be attacking Putin for doing the same things wr do every day (where was the outrage over out hacking Israel's election pouring in money and propaganda against Netenyahu???)... We spy. We run intel ops and special operations around the world. We interfere with elections. We run Radio Free Europe and have a Psy Ops function. Putin is just doing his job... making Russia Great Again... Our job is to make America Great Again... If those things clash.. We have problems. But they don't always clash. And arguably, the clash over the years was not with Russia... but with the Communist ideology... that Russia got foisted upon it by Lenin, Stalin, etc. The current Russian ideology is 'not' that Communism will eventually triumph through the work of Comintern. It is that "Russia will be great again" economically and on the world stage. Which is fine. The world is not a finite pie... and if someone's slice gets bigger, everyone else's get smaller. A bigger slice of pie for Russia inevitably means a bigger pie for everyone. Let them succeed. Vlad won't be around forever. How about we encourage Russian scientists to work on malaria drugs or cure cancer or invent a better lightbulb? This idea that only one successful nation can exist is stupid. Competition is not always war. Competition, however, is progress.
Why are we attacking Vlad when the Enemy is the Swamp, the deep state, corrupt politicians... And the useful-idiot traitors in our midst. Blaming Putin for this is like blaming the Visigoths and the Vandals for the decay of Roman society... Brought on by rot from within.
Blaming Putin for the crap we have allowed our government, elected leaders and sick, diseased mainly-urban communist citizenry to get away with... Is a joke. When we stopped recognizing that the,enemy is an ideology... Socialism... And mainstreamed commies like Sanders, Schumer, Jerry Brown... And Hillary... We brought it all on ourselves.
The question now is... Do we fix it. Or does it get fixed by the Visigoths and the Vandals?

So this manufactured outrage is just another way to split off support for Trump... and try and win a last-gasp victory in November... impeach the 'problem' and everything will go back to nice, happy graft, corruption and Selling America Down the Road of Communism.... until we are over-run with Visigoths.
