It's outdoors, it's not a particularly vulnerable age group, and it should be straightforward to maintain some sort of safe distancing (to the extent that it's even required when outdoors). The scouts was decent, but things are not the same any more.
The national organization decided to allow the SJW / Homosexual types to start taking over, with little regard to the welfare of the children.

Several of my family members were involved with scouts, either as scouts or leaders.
There are plenty that have seen dealings with either the national office or local state offices and understood the good days were long gone.

I'm sure there are lots of good fine people still in scouts.

BUT the national organization has clearly, openly and publicly decided that they will embrace the SJW / Homosexual agenda.

Sad but that's the way things go.
