They were already doing it here last year. Polis declared a state of emergency with HPAI. They put signs up at all the lakes that HPAI had been detected in the area. Anyone who had possible contact or entered an area with HPAI and then entered their chicken house was ordered to kill all their birds. This was happening when everyone was crying about the price of eggs. I know some people who were ordered by the state to cull their entire flock without a single sick bird. Just possible exposure.
