Piece of box channel I plasma cut into a " U" shape. Simple plate jaw. 3/8 drill rod for guide pins. Piece of threaded rod. Handle off of an old desk( kmw-ish looking.....I know) some adhesive bad ass pad that is very dense and a little krylon.. bout it

OK, I have killed hundreds of coyotes, including 15 in the last 30 days. Have not been reduced to training wheels yet. BTW, I do not notice your use of it in the picture, so I guess either you did fine without it or were ashamed and hid it prior to the pic.

I am not an operator, I am a varmint hunter and do some deer culling on my ranches and for others at times. I fire from 7500 to 15000 centerfire rounds a year in the field and on my 1000 yard range. I have been doing it for 44 years so I guess when I get your expirence, I will use one too. Or just quit instead.

I don't know why RTH is even wasting all the time practicing on a 1000yrd range... What good does that do you shooting varmint and deer? A whole lot less the shooting from a very stable platform...

I have a tripod that once folded is about the same length as a bipod folded against my barrel, so to say one couldn't use this on the move is near sighted and too foolish to gleam a single nugget of experience from...

Learn to be social and not to come here and Poo Poo on something because you don't have the mental capacity to conceive something or the drive to build something such as the gun vise above...

Love the design and I have plans to make a copy for my wife to use.

Then move on already! If, as a varmint hunter who hunts on foot, you don't see the usefulness of a shooting tripod/cradle/saddle, why come in here and question/rag on/mock the OP for seeing a need for a product, not wanting to pay for said product from any number a different folks that already produce similar items, taking some initiative, and building one on his own?

Personally, as a civilian/hunter/competitor, I see a device like this (and those manufactured and marketed by PRS, Hog Saddle, etc.), as having a wide variety of uses in the field, at competitions, etc. If you don't...that's fine. Again...move on.
