Buffered by bails or blocks which are then incinerated by the blast/heat. Also, the brunt of the explosion seems to expell out the sides of the stack from the side facing them.

It's a fake.

The blast wave effects the camera, but not them? Also take a look at the antenna. The blast wave would have sent it forward, but it didn't.

Video editing, but a decent end product.

No one caught on to my sarcasm and logical solution... I don't know what they blew up, but it would have messed some shit up being within a couple hundred meters of that I'm guessing. I flinch at much smaller!
