Here we go once again. Trust me, I have no prob getting something for mom, but when she lives several states away, the options become narrowed down. But when I visit FTD or some other flowers site, and the add to cart price is like $40, then right before you place the order, poof! that magically becomes $70 because of surcharges. I'm no fan of profiteering to begin with, but this shit is just a dirty psychological mind fuck. Advertise $20 flowers, and then spring a crazy price on people right at the end. Statistically speaking, many people will accept their fate and just go ahead with the order. I actually went to another site and got a bit of a better price, but it was the same tactic.

I'm tired of going to CVS for cards....eack kid picks one for each grammy and their mom. Than I got to buy one for mom and better half, than you hit the register and find out these inane phrases on colored paper will set you back $50 or more.

If its the same on Fathers Day just get me two boxes of FGMM 175 please!

Its the day when you have to grill for everybody else, get mom (birth type) drinks and cater to all her wants, the kids fight and knock the grill over, and your MIL drinks your last beer and than at the end of the night you get asked by wife "Did you enjoy your day?"

    I've heard of this.
My favorite version was clean boat/fuel up sweat ass off getting shit all lined out to entertain the mob.

My wife doesn’t want flowers for mother’s day, she wants a purebred puppy.
I calmly explained that for that price we could get an Accuracy International.
The look she gave me was quite dirty, and not in the good way.

I had a conversation this week with a customer that just had to have his Lab put down (old age). He said over the years, he has probably put somewhere between $20 and $25 Grand on the dog, between food, sitters and vet bills. I love dogs, but it's just getting to the point where they are just too costly. Having said that, there is a line to how much money I will sink into a pet.

I love dogs too, but I am not home enough to care for one. So I have cats instead. Excellent companions, and not hard to take care of. However, just thinking about it, probably about 1k a year on food and litter, and they live over 15 years typically. I'm in the same boat, but that cost is for 2 of them together.

    Smart people dont own boats.

They make friends with people that own boats.
Bust Out Another Thousand, or in some cases more.
    looked something like this:

Hmm, no alcohol for me, but yeah, otherwise, pretty standard.

I recently had exactly the same case. It made me so angry. Moreover, I did not immediately notice it and made an order. I was incredibly angry and told this company everything I think.
This was the last time I collaborated with this company. The next time I needed to order a bouquet again, I already found another company for voucher code from Bloom and Wild. I was intrigued because the discount was excellent. In the end, I paid exactly as much as I had planned. Now I have a favorite flower shop, and it's very cool. I really hope that they will always be so cool.

here’s a tip for you folks without kids….

save your money with the buying shit, and just call you mom. or if you are close enough, stop by and make her lunch or take her to lunch.

as parents, we dont need anything. the only thing that we really want is some time. and it’s the most precious thing you have; as there is a finite amount of it in your life. you can’t buy, earn, or make more.

Sooooo…. What are you going to spam us with? CBD? Video games? Fuck, can it at least be an Only Fans with someone hot? Just post it now so I can get the “fuck off spammer” and the mods can deal with you out of the way sooner than later, we have shit to do.

Your mom will always prefer a hand written card and a phone call over anything else. Giving people flowers is weird, its like here i killed this for you please let it slowly rot in your house.
