Spiked heals are worse than golf-ball-sized hail on a car's finish. She got what she deserved.
NOTE: She's obviously never seen someone react after their car has been keyed or else she might have thought twice about wearing her heals during her monologue.

Speaking as one who was in the Navy from 81-87 and served on submarines most of that... I read that part and I too went "huh?, maybe that was part of the language he didn't understand", it definitely didn't describe me, or those that were around me.
