Nothing like 2000 lbs. of the meanest bull ever coming right at you. lol

My brother in laws family raised brangus cattle. They decided keeping the Brahma bulls around was just too risky for what more they got. Angus, ...not so much a problem. But, then you had to keep Angus bulls around too. It was a whole lot easier to work with Angus and Herefords and get premium price for black baldy's.
I spent a little bit of time around Watusi’s, those mean fuckers would try to move a fence to get you.

Ive seen it, bunch of made-up yellow journalism. Cover to cover, solid bullshit. I went through the entire book, page by page, with the remaining survivors of that period at a reunion, just after the book came out.
I personally know most of the guys mentioned, and a lot who weren't mentioned. Wouldn't wipe my ass with that book.
One of the so-called journalists, stole entire folders of documents from NARA, and never returned them.
I suggest YOU read "Tiger Force: Inward Season Three" by Leo Heaney (Amazon). And an older book, "Special Men", by Dennis Foley, and the third book of the 6 Silent Men series (Linderer), which has at least one member of Tigers featured after he went over to LRRPS.
Typing this out doesn't express my vehemence and disdain for these two shit-sellers, in the least.
I will read them. Thank you.

Weird. Since the moon has a synchronous rotation around the Earth, I guess those compiled images came from satellites or an Apollo mission or something.

The Apollo astronauts were the first humans to see the "dark side" of the moon. My kids have plastic reproductions of the moon that light up, fabricated from satellite imagery. I imagine that graphic was as well.

Sorry @powdahound76 .

On the bright side 10% off manicures if I ever get one, got a 5% disability for missing feeling in the marked area which gave me the money to get my used razor ii 4.5-27 mil 7c and my 1022 takedown and the magpul stock, and I didn't have to pay for anything since it happened at work.

The missing feeling is from when they took the meat from back of pointer finger with blood vessel which brought along the nerve to cover the thumb. That area was covered with a graft from thigh seam area.

Don't add much of anything to this thread, but limiting to three in a row? That's the moto pic thread version of one handgun a month!
There are different ways of interpreting that 3 in a row.

1 post with 3 pics. Possible less likely original intent.

3 posts in a row with those types of pictures with = or less than 5 pics in each. Most likely interpretation.

3 posts in a row with up to 10 pics in each. Still technically correct but edge of acceptability that warrants retribution.

If you want that stuff there are better areas to get it. You don't like that be prepared for more like what @sirhrmechanic and @Dirty D have posted. I also have some more nasty pics of my thumb that I didn't post. I kept it to the cleaner ones.

Now back to the motivational. Got one of these on the way. Got it for a really good price.

@LeftyJason - while I hate those, Im not sure you wanna get into a screwed pic contest.....

I have seen stuff that even makes many nurses puke.

I keep them for teaching only. Highly illegal to post on here.

But, I am pretty good at describing and am sure I could find some nasty stuff on the net. Even stuff that @Dirty D couldnt fap to...... ?

My great uncle served in the marines 2nd division in the south pacific. Many stories when he got older of different islands he fought in. He told me about the dogs and their handlers and the special bond they had, and that the japs feared 2 things more than anything. Flame throwers and the war dogs! And both had a marine attached to them!

how did you get the back of the thumb with a router? Every time I make rails and stiles I get worried about all the things pointing forward.

I had a friend that was an ER Dr and he tried to gross me out with some of his saltier ER cases until I pointed out that I did 4 years of SAR for the USCG and recovered bodies that skipped the ER and went straight to the coroner. Fresh bodies in the ocean are easy, bodies that have had a 3 or 5 day soak in tropical waters have all sorts of nasty creatures in them and on them eating away and the flesh gets so spongy that you have to get in the water with the body and wrap it in a blanket or everything but the bones will strain right through the wire mesh on a stokes litter. BTW if you have a new guy on the crew and recover one that has soaked for a few days eels are rather fond of going down the throat and eating their way out. New guys don’t seem to like seeing that in person without any warning.

@barneybdb...

On the subject of Australia... looks like you downunder guys managed to crack a pretty interesting physics problem!

This is about to change computing in some serious ways!

Moore's Law will be around a little longer! And you apparently aren't all about wallabys, Big beer in a can and things that try and kill ya!

Well done Oz!

Cheers,

Sirhr

New teachers get sick often, and bring it to their spouses. After a few years of this, their immune system is super strong and resistant to almost everything.
That may have been true before our schools were overrun with foreigners, but now there is always a new bug that no one has immunity to. My wife is a school teacher, gets the flu shot every year and gets the flu, strep, and 3 or four stomach bugs every year. Her school has 5 or so teachers out every week sick. These nasty little immigrant kids go back home for the holidays or summer and bring all sorts of fucked up shit back. The last two viruses that went through the school and my home, the doctors didn't even have a name for. I'm still coughing up crap a month after being sick.
