Pueblo Bonito at Chaco Canyon. The darker rock is a patina up on the plateau and the Chacoans liked it because it fractured with straight lines and because it was harder than the light sandstone. I've done a bit of stone work - enough to know how much of a colossal pain in the ass it had to be to lug all that rock down off the plateau.
