The weather has been grey and drizzling here all day and the atmosphere certainly makes that post more easier to write up... Two blocks from my desk window is a square and concrete apartment building and in the gloom, it really looks like a Norman castle. Just tune out the smaller houses around it and you can easily envision a large, sweeping moor where the structure sits atop a small hill... a fief granted by Duke William to one of his earls for participating in the campaign against Edgar Etheling in 1068... LOL...
