I was explaining that to my son just the other day.Double bonus if you can drive a "three on the tree" (or know what it is)
This should help. First heard it years ago on the Rod Ryan show in Houston.I wish this clip was longer. I really need to see more of people getting their ass kicked so I can stay out of jail this week.....

Sadly committed suicideInga Stevens. Maybe some makeup but no photoshopping or PS here
My first as well!! 1968 Rambler American in vomit brown with a bench front seat; that thing ran so quiet you had to pop the hood and see if the radiator fan was turning to tell if it was on. To this day, probably the best car I ever owned.First car I drove before I was even legal was a Rambler American with three on the column.
That would be a two bagger, one for her, and another for me in case her bag falls off.
My dad had one, I think it was a 75. It ran great until it started blowing freeze plugs. I guess the Midwest salt was eating thru them.Had a 72 dodge van with a 360 in it.
Thermoquad, direct connection cam, hooker headers 3.5” pipes to old school turbo mufflers.
Manual steering manual brakes no AC.
Three on the tree you could hear it idling a hundred yards away.
Wife used to love driving that thing.
I had a 66 Bronco, too. Originally, it was 3 on the tree, converted to 3 on the floor. Wish I still had it. That thing would go anywhere.Had multiple sticks, including a 66 Bronco with 3 on the tree .
