Waiting for a self-checkout at Lowes or Home Depot. Guy ahead of me scanned and bagged a couple hundred dollars in merch. I stepped up to checkout and the screen said "select payment type." I told the employee at the stand and pointed at the guy walking out the door. She cleared te screen and walked back to her stand.

An acquaintance worked at Home Depot. He was using a forklift, or such, to block the exit when someone attempted to leave with several electrical tools. Police were called and the suspect was place under arrest.
He, and an employee who held the thief, were soon after fired.

This is fake news. There is no dog, no dirty clothes on the floor, no old open cans of chili with a spoon hanging out and there are plants on the balcony. Other than that its gtg. I lived like that for years, no issues.

Fuck, then you will need a couple milk crates to put the TV on so your feet don't block it. Next thing you know, you got bullshit all over the place. Slippery slope my friend. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

When I first moved out and got my own apt 22yrs old around 1997 It wasn't much different than this pic. I had my TV sitting on a 48qt Colman cooler and I had a couple camping chairs for furniture, It was just me and my black lab pup and it was the greatest time of my life looking back on it.

Early 20's, new on the FD, and bought a house with a shop and 2 acres. Couple hand-me-down pieces of furniture. Used washer and dryer. 4 plates, forks, knives, spoons and cups. Ate meat beans and beer, or fried fish we caught for supper all the time. I wouldn't take for the wife and daughter I have now, but I can say that was a damn fun time!

First appartment was furnished from my parents basement. They were depression era kids and never threw away anything of any concievable use.
That being said I had a bed, tv, and a box that my girlfriend and I would eat off of whilst sitting on the floor. The entire kitchen was from their basement. Night stands for the queen sized bed. Sheets and linens. Everything we needed. Good times, I married that girl and she is still putting up with me 32 years on.

As no rank, no money GI in the late 70s, I had quite the place decorated in early ammo crate.

I wonder what the pay is like?

Those FX air rifles are no joke. They will group as well as a match grade 22 Caliber rifle. They run from $1100 to about $2300. With their large capacity air tanks (pressured up to 3600 PSI), They can shoot a large number of rounds; even their larger .35 caliber airguns will deliver 45 regulated shots downrange. Perfect for small critters. The are serious contenders each year at the "extreme benchrest competition" held in Arizona each year. They aren't same as the ones you fired as a kid.

College rifle team, mid 70's. Admins asked coach if we could shoot the pigeons off the admin building roof from the adjacent building because they were pooping all over the sidewalks. Coach asked who was going to patch the holes. Blank looks. Didn't get to play. Bummer.

Thank you,
MrSmith

I have a few PCP rifles. One, a R.A.W HM 1000X in .25 caliber. These things are deadly accurate with no recoil. Got to know your ballistics tho.

40 grain nosler out of a .223 leaves no holes. Just a smear. 55gr Sierra blitzking leaves holes.

I have a sparrow problem in a large barn that I have. Could one of these be turned down enough to kill sparrows without damaging the sheet metal, tractor windows, etc.?
Short answer yes. But, for that distance, I would consider a .22 to .25 caliber Benjamin Marauder, which is at a much lower cost. Once tuned, they are a sweet shooter.

I believe so. In England, they have laws where you have to have a license to shoot one that is over 11 ft. lbs. of energy. If you get ahold of one of these 11 FPE rifles in .177 caliber, you should be good. Plus, you would get a ton of shots per fill. Here is a link discussing lower power options: https://www.airgunnation.com/topic/12-fpe-gun-in-the-usa/
